FMJD : Déclaration sur la libération des Cinq Cubains

Declaración de LA FMJD acerca de la liberación de los 5 héroes cubanos.

Un nuevo balance de fuerzas a nivel internacional se ha impuesto con los recientes desarrollos que el mundo está viviendo. Por un lado, la crisis económica y el incremento de las agresiones del imperialismo contra la clase obrera y los sectores populares. Por otro, el auge de los grupos y fuerzas fascistas en muchos rincones del planeta con el claro apoyo de las fuerzas imperialistas. También, la ocupación, intervención, invasion y guerra contra la libertad de los pueblos. Enfrentándose a esto se encuentra un amplio grupo de pueblos, especialmente las fuerzas progresistas, patrióticas y de izquierdas. Además, hay que añadir la esperanza de las fuerzas emergentes que están también estos ataques y se encuentran en contra de los neo-nazis y neo-fascistas.

Hoy estamos viviendo uno de los cambios en el mapa mundial con la liberación de los 5 héroes cubanos como prisioneros de EEUU después de 15 años en prisión. La victoria para la Revolución Cubana y los pueblos está coronada con la admisión por las autoridades americanas, después de las palabras del Presidente, que después de 56 años de bloqueo contra Cuba, éste ha sido un fracaso.

La Revolución cubana ganó una victoria para todos los pueblos oprimidos del mundo, una victoria que ratifica claramente lo acertado de la resistencia contra la ocupación y el control sobre la salud y las vidas de los pueblos.

Bajo la lucha anti imperialista y el movimiento de la Federación Mundial de la Juventud Democrática, siempre ha habido una lucha por el fin del bloqueo, la liberación de los 5 héroes cubanos y la liberación de los pueblos de América Latina, a lo que hay que añadir también que la juventud cubana ha estado siempre apoyando a la FMJD en sus altibajos, jugando un rol esencial en manteniendo esta Federación luchando por los beneficios y aspiraciones de los pueblos.

La FMJD y sus organizaciones miembro felicitan al pueblo cubano y su revolución por ganar una nueva batalla por la liberación de Cuba y por el socialismo. Felicitamos también a los 5 héroes cubanos y su pueblo cubano por su victoria y su perserverancia. Por ultimo, la FMJD desea que este evento permita crear y que exista más responsabilidad para el pueblo de Cuba y del mundo, manteniendo la mirada atenta en los pasos futuros de los EEUU, así como en cualquier nueva forma o método bajo los cuales las fuerzas imperialistas traten de provocar o atacar al pueblo de Cuba.

Conjuntamente, mano a mano, derrotaremos al imperialismo, dado que nada podemos ganar salvo nuestra verdadera libertad.

WFDY statement on the liberation of the Cuban Five

A new world balance for international forces is imposed with the recent developments the world is witnessing. With the increased aggressions of imperialism towards the working and popular strata, after the last economic crisis. And the rise of fascist groups and forces in many places in the world with the clear support of the imperialist forces. Yet the creation of occupation, intervention, invasion and war against the freedom of peoples. That is faced by a wide range of people especially leftist, progressive and patriotic forces. Nevertheless a hope is provided by the emerging forces that are rejecting the methods of the imperialist forces and they are also the voice of apposition and struggle against the brutal measures and against the neo-Nazi and the neo fascists.

Today we are witnessing one of the changes in the world map with the liberation of the Cuban Five from the USA prisons after 15 years of jail. This victory for the Cuban revolution and peoples is crowned with the admit of the American authorities by the voice of its president, that the 56 years of blockage against Cuba is a failure.

The Cuban revolution won a victory in the battle against imperialism, that is a victory for all the oppressed peoples of the world, a victory that clearly states the righteous of resistance against occupation and control of peoples’ wealth and life.

Under the anti-imperialist struggle and movement of the World Federation of Democratic Youth, there was always a struggle for the end of blockage, for liberation of the Cuban Five, and liberation of peoples of Latin America. Also, the Cuban youth have always been beside WFDY in its ups and downs, playing an essential role in keeping this Federation fighting for the benefits and will of peoples.

WFDY and its member organizations greet the Cuban people and revolution for winning another battle towards the liberation of Cuba as well as towards socialism. We congratulate the Cuban Five and Cuban people for their victory and steadfastness, and on the same time we are aiming on overthrowing capitalism. Finally WFDY hopes that this event will create and provide even more responsibility for the people of Cuba and the world to keep an eye on the future steps of USA, to keep an eye on any new way that the imperialist forces will try to provoke and attack the people of Cuba.

Together, hand in hand, we will defeat imperialism, since nothing can win but the truth of freedom.
