Solidarity with the student movement in Mexico

The militancy of the student movement in Latin America and vocation of art has had memorable milestones that have defined an established history of popular struggles, especially those related to democratization, free and qualitative education. At any point of the continent, young people received the same response from the oppressor’s terror and repression; actions orchestrated between criminal and operators of imperialism to halt the advance of popular organization.

In the late 60s, before the rise of revolutionary momentum prevailing within the student movement, the International Monetary Fund and World Bank guidelines ordered educational reforms implemented by the servile governments of the region to undermine the struggle for the transformation of education system and thus subordinate the universities and schools to the interests of the big monopolies. It was a policy of detente quality of education and its privatization; depoliticization of the curriculum and the training of professionals outside the reality of peoples today, when the crisis of capitalism snatches fundamental rights of the working class and working people worldwide in order to save their profit rate, and the stability and profitability of the monopolies, on the same time the students of Mexico have chosen the path of struggle out on the roads and the streets to demand qualitative education and to serve the people.

Again the response was terror and repression, imperialism ─ and the bourgeoisie subordinated to their intereses─ attempts to criminalize social protest in order to reduce levels of inherent contempt of Latin American youth; with courage and dignity raise the banner of anti-imperialist struggle; for Socialism and 
the right to education for liberation and transformation. On September 26th, 43 students of the Normal School Isidro Burgos Rural Ayotzinapa were kidnapped by Mexican state agencies. This crime against humanity was preceded by mass protests against a reform imposed Polytechnics.

The brutality of the repressive forces of the Mexican state of impunity that protects the activities of mercenaries and paramilitary groups and the complicity of all state structures that defender of the interests of the bourgeoisie clearly demonstrate that there is fear about the permanent social mobilization the popular forces.

Against this horrific event, the youths of the continent and the world condemn in the strongest manner the kidnapping of 43 normalistas Ayotzinapa and the recent arrests of the youth leaders. We demand that students appear alive and responsible to the government of Enrique Peña Nieto as visible prevailing terrorist Mexico State head.

The youths reaffirm our solidarity with the struggle of anti-imperialist youth movement in Mexico and we call on all political and social mobilization and ongoing turmoil in the street forces. We are confident that the bullets will not silence the thousands of voices around the world calling for a free, sovereign and Ayotzinapa your struggle is the struggle of youth and students worldwide.

Solidaridad con el movimiento estudiantil en México

La combatividad del movimiento estudiantil en Latinoamérica y su vocación de vanguardia ha tenido hitos memorables que han definido una historia consagrada a las luchas populares, especialmente aquellas vinculadas con la democratización, gratuidad y calidad de la educación. En cualquier punto del continente, los jóvenes recibieron la misma respuesta de parte de los opresores: terror y represión; acciones orquestadas entre criminales y operadores del imperialismo para frenar el avance de la A finales de los 60, ante el auge de ímpetu revolucionario imperante en el seno del movimiento estudiantil, el Fondo Monetario Internacional y el Banco Mundial ordenaron los lineamientos de reformas educativas aplicadas por los gobiernos serviles de la región para socavar la lucha por la transformación del sistema educativo y así subordinar nuestras universidades y escuelas a los intereses de los grandes monopolios. Se trató de una política de distención la calidad de la educación y su privatización; la despolitización de los pensum y la formación de profesionales ajenos a la realidad de Hoy, cuando la crisis del capitalismo arrebata los derechos fundamentales a la Clase Obrera y el pueblo trabajador en todo el mundo, para salvar la tasa de ganancia, la estabilidad y la rentabilidad de los monopolios, los estudiantes de México se han volcado a las calles para exigir una educación de calidad Una vez más la respuesta ha sido terror y represión: el imperialismo ─y la burguesía subordinada a sus intereses─ intenta criminalizar la protesta social con el objetivo de disminuir los niveles de rebeldía inherente a la juventud latinoamericana; que con valentía y dignidad levantan las banderas de la lucha antiimperialista; por el Socialismo y el derecho a una educación para la liberación y la transformación. El 26 de septiembre, 43 estudiantes de la Escuela Normal Rural Isidro Burgos de Ayotzinapa fueron secuestrados por organismos del Estado mexicano. Este crimen de lesa humanidad fue precedido por protestas multitudinarias en contra de una reforma impuesta a los Institutos Politécnicos. La brutalidad de los cuerpos represivos del Estado mexicano, la impunidad que protege el accionar de mercenarios y grupos paramilitares y la complicidad de todas las estructuras de ese Estado defensor de los intereses de la burguesía demuestran claramente que existe temor frente a la permanente movilización social de las fuerzas populares.

Frente a este atroz hecho, las juventudes del continente y el mundo condenamos de la manera más rotunda el secuestro de los 43 normalistas de Ayotzinapa y las recientes detenciones de dirigentes juveniles revolucionarios. Exigimos que aparezcan con vida los estudiantes y responsabilizamos al gobierno de Enrique Peña Nieto como cabeza visible del terrorismo de Estado imperante en México.

Las juventudes reafirmamos toda nuestra solidaridad con la lucha del movimiento juvenil anti-imperialista de México y convocamos a todas las fuerzas políticas y sociales a la movilización y agitación permanente en la calle. Tenemos la certeza de que las balas no silenciarán a las miles de voces que en todo el mundo reclaman un México libre, soberano e independiente Ayotzinapa tu lucha, es la lucha de los jóvenes y estudiantes del mundo.
