DECLARACION DE SOLIDARIDAD CON LA FIRMA DEL ACUERDO DE PAZ ENTRE EL GOBIERNO DE COLOMBIA Y LAS FUERZAS ARMADAS DE COLOMBIA-EJERCITO DEL PUEBLO

La Federación Mundial de Juventudes Democráticas se solidariza con la firma del acuerdo de paz entre el gobierno de Colombia y las FARC-EP, que pone fin a la sumisión del pueblo colombiano en la guerra más prolongada de América Latina con 52 años de conflicto.

Instamos a los implicados en este proceso al necesario cumplimiento y respeto del acuerdo que hoy se firma como única garantía de la paz verdadera en Colombia.

Apoyamos el derecho democrático del pueblo de Colombia que será manifestado en referéndum el próximo 2 de octubre y cuyo resultado reforzará el acuerdo alcanzado y constituirá un paso para la paz definitiva.

La Federación Mundial de Juventudes Democráticas ha dado seguimiento al desarrollo de este necesario y anhelado proceso. Con el acuerdo que hoy se firma se ratifica el irrestricto respaldo de las organizaciones miembros de la FMJD al diálogo y la paz como vía de solución de los conflictos de la humanidad. Solo la paz garantizará un mundo de justicia y mejor para todos.

Declaration of solidarity with the signature of the peace agreement between the government of Colombia and the Armed Forces of Colombia-Arrmy of the People

The World Federation of Democratic Youths sympathizes with the signature of the final peace agreement between Colombia and the FARC-EP. This signature closes the Colombian people subservience in to the longer Latin America’s war with 52 years of the conflict.

We urge the implied ones in this process to fulfill and respect the agreement that is signed today, in order to guarantee the real peace in Colombia.

We support the democratic right of the people of Colombia which will be applied through a referendum on October 2, and at the same time its result must reinforce the agreement and it will consist a step for the definitive peace.

The World Federation of Democratic Youth has followed all the necessary and desired Process of Peace in Colombia. With this agreement that today is signed we ratify our unrestricted support of all WFDY members’ organizations to the dialogue and peace as solution of the humanity conflicts. Only peace will guarantee a fair world and better for everyone.
